THE DAVID SCOTT MEMORIAL ATHLETICSHIP FUND

The David Scott Memorial Athleticship Fund is a dedicated scholarship program designed to provide assistance to players with a financial hardship so they may pursue their passion for soccer. Patriot FC offers a limited number of athleticships to players each season. All inquiries are strictly confidential and are subject to approval from the Patriot FC Athleticship Committee. The application can cover multiple siblings in one family.

OVERVIEW & QUALIFICATIONS

ATHLETICSHIP MAY COVER: 
• Up to 50% of eligible Travel program registration fees.

• Up to 100% of eligible Intramural program registration fees.

ATHLETICSHIP DOES NOT COVER: 
• Summer Program Offerings
• Election Day Program Offerings
• School’s Out Program Offerings
• Intramural volunteer opt-out fee

• Uniforms

DEADLINES

Applications for U15 and younger, must be received on or before June 30, 2026*.

Awarded athleticship percentage will be based on your registration rate.

Applications for U16 and older, must be received on or before September 30, 2026*.

Awarded athleticship percentage will be based on your registration rate.

*Applications received after the stated deadlines may not be eligible for Athleticship award.

TERMS

  • No per family limit to Athleticships; can have multiple siblings receive in one family.
  • Need-based only based on the explanations given on the applications.
  • Require that player(s) be “in good standing” with Patriot FC (no disciplinary infractions, etc.) and agree to the Patriot FC Code of Conduct.
  • Applicants may reapply every year.
  • Applications will be accepted throughout the year.
  • Awards will be at the discretion of the Athleticship Committee.

Your completed application will be submitted to the Patriot FC Registrar and reviewed by the Patriot FC Athleticship Committee. All applications will be kept confidential and you will be notified via email within 2 weeks of the committee's decision.
