WHAT COMES WITH YOUR CLUB REGISTRATION?
At Patriot FC, we understand the importance of creating a positive soccer experience for players, coaches, and parents alike. FIELDS & FACILITIES
|
|
- Year-round access to our local fields & facilities in Newtown and Upper Makefield Townships for your team’s home games and training sessions, including winter indoor space. You can find a list of fields and directions on our website.
- Our primary training locations will be Council Rock High School North and The George School turf fields, providing predictable surfaces and minimizing weather-related cancellations.
- By using turf fields for training, we can improve the overall condition of our grass fields for games and other soccer activities, ensuring better playing conditions for all teams.
- Our full-time groundskeeper will handle all field maintenance and equipment movement, eliminating the need for volunteer commitments and ensuring that fields are always in top condition.

PLAYER PATHWAYS & LEAGUES
|
|
- At Patriot FC, we believe in following the USYS pathway, which is the largest member of the US Soccer Federation with over 3 million youth soccer players. This pathway offers a strong, consistent, and developmentally-appropriate structure for players, ensuring that they receive the best training and competition possible. To learn more about why this pathway is right for your player, visit our website
- Every travel team, from U7 to U19, will compete year-round in appropriate leagues locally or through EDP, from their Futures Program up through their USYS Conferences. League fees for both fall and spring are included in your registration fees.
- While it can be tempting to participate in an indoor winter league, we do not recommend it. It can be challenging to find the right level of competition, and we believe that winter is the perfect time to focus on a player's technical skills. Therefore, we encourage our teams to consider futsal or additional technical training sessions during the winter months.
|
TOURNAMENTS & STATE CUP |
| - Tournaments provide players with additional opportunities to compete against teams they may not see in regular league play, helping them develop new skills and strategies. Tournament fees are included in the club registration.
- Depending on their age group, teams can expect to participate in between 3 and 6 tournaments per year, giving them ample opportunities to showcase their skills and compete against top talent.
- Teams may also choose to participate in overnight tournaments, coaching expenses covered. Families are only responsible for their own travel expenses, making it an affordable and enjoyable experience.
- Teams may also compete in the State Cup competition, which occurs every spring. The decision to participate will be made by your coach in consultation with our Director of Coaching, ensuring that your team is prepared and ready to compete at the highest level

INDIVIDUAL EXPENSES
At Patriot FC, most of what your player needs is covered in the club registration fee. However, there are a few individual expenses that families should be aware of.
- Personal travel expenses, including transportation to and from games, tournaments, and hotels, are paid by families individually. Depending on the team, there may be one overnight tournament that require a hotel stay. Typically, away games are within one hour of Newtown, PA, but travel times may vary based on the team's competitiveness and league affiliation.
- Uniforms for travel soccer are available through our partner, Ewing Sports. The uniform package includes high-quality Adidas gear and costs about $185, covering the seasonal years of 2023-24 and 2024-2025. This includes home and away game kits (jerseys, shorts, and socks) as well as a jersey for training. Additional items such as warm-up jackets or pants, soccer bags, and winter jackets can be purchased as needed. Check with your team manager or coach for any items that may be needed but not included in the standard kit.
